You may wish to purchase the DVD of Bram Stoker's Dracula (it's a couple of pounds on Amazon). It is an 18 Certificate, but this particular clip is fine. One of Trump's strengths during a protracted promotional campaign leading up to the election was an EXCELLENT media team who produced a number of exceedingly clever media texts to present Trump as the hero waiting in the wings to save the nation! Obviously, Trump is a contentious issue and a few students got quite sniffy initially but the focus is on the SUCCESS OF THIS MEDIA CAMPAIGN not Trump himself and once made clear, the students really enjoyed the lessons on this. Great debates ensued among my students- although many dislike Trump it is without question that the American media were against him and you need to start from this perspective. It is so interesting. Designed for teachers very short on time. Great way for lower ability reluctant students to understand the text. Totally self-contained work book to teach this novella- this work can be completed even if you don’t have the actual text and no other resources are needed. Students work through a series of tasks which generates a GCSE essay which can then be typed up- great for teaching skills and revision.
